Pär Åhlström´s main research interest is the innovation and implementation of new operations processes, in both manufacturing and service organizations. He has extensively studied the implementation of new manufacturing strategies in various industries. He is currently involved in research on the transfer of lean practices into services, in industries such as truck services, healthcare and banking. He is also very interested in innovation and product development management and manufacturing strategies.
