Andreas Werr is associate professor at the Stockholm School of Economics and acting head of the Center for People and Organization (PMO). Andreas earned his PhD at the Stockholm School of Economics with a dissertation focusing on the functions of methodologies in the work of management consultants. His current research interests focus on the rhetoric of management consulting, the procurement, use and consequences of management consultants in client organizations, and the management of professional service firms, specifically the management of knowledge and knowledge processes. Andreas is currently involved in research projects on:
- Knowledge integration in Professional Service Firms;
- HRM in Knowledge Intensive Firms – A critical studie of HR practice and knowledge work
- Realizing Innovation Potential in the provision of integrated customer solutions.
Between 2003 and 2007 he served on the Executive Committee of the Management Consulting Division of the Academy of Management. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Scandinavian Journal of Management. He has been teaching on all levels in the subjects Management Consulting, Organization Theory, HRM and Qualitative Methods.
